Because people in many industries require the skills and knowledge in this unit, it has been written to allow for contextualisation. In practice, this unit supports and is supported by other units describing the specialist skills and knowledge required by specific design disciplines.This unit underpins effective performance in all design disciplines. It is highly recommended that this unit be assessed with or after the following units:BSBDES402A Interpret and respond to a briefany specialised design unit, e.g. CUFCOS504A Design costumes.There is also a strong link between this unit and the following unit, and combined assessment and or training would be appropriate:BSBDES305A Source and apply information on the history and theory of design. | ||
