Learning Outcomes and Application
|
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to manage explosive ordnance engineering and logistics processes. It includes identifying and planning explosive ordnance engineering and logistics processes, and feasibility assessments. It also includes managing and concluding engineering and logistics processes. This unit applies to persons who are required to manage explosive ordnance engineering and logistics processes.A manager of explosive ordnance processes will have some autonomy of action, may delegate authority to subordinates and is capable of independent decision making, requiring no supervision. The management of explosive ordnance processes is primarily conducted in installations involved in the storage, distribution and maintenance of explosive ordnance, however it may be performed in research and development establishments, and proof and experimental establishments. The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
