Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the knowledge and skills required to ensure safe removal of the patient under routine conditions as part of emergency work where patients are not anticipated to have an immediate life threatening injury, illness or condition.This unit applies to pre-hospital/out-of-hospital health care workers.The skills in this unit must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian/New Zealand Standards and industry codes of practice. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Skills and knowledge must be demonstrated in a workplace or in a simulated environment that reflects workplace conditions. Where simulation is used, it must reflect real working conditions by modelling industry operating conditions and contingencies, as well as using suitable facilities, equipment and resources. Assessors must satisfy the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015/AQTF mandatory competency requirements for assessors. |
