Learning Outcomes and Application This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to analyse business requirements, and to select the best strategies for providing a cloud storage solution.It applies to those engaged in developing a cloud storage strategy for an enterprise.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.

Gather evidence to demonstrate consistent performance in conditions that are safe and replicate the workplace. Noise levels, production flow, interruptions and time variances must be typical of those experienced in the general ICT industry, and include access to:

a site where cloud storage technologies may be used

the cloud storage technologies currently used in industry

service level agreements (SLA) documentation relevant to cloud storage scenarios

documentation detailing work health and safety (WHS) standards, environmental guidelines, and enterprise requirements.

Assessors must satisfy NVR/AQTF assessor requirements.

define "Big Data" and its application within the corporate environment

identify and specify, the vendor product directions in cloud storage services

identify and describe, current industry hardware and software products, and their general features, capabilities and application, especially where applied to cloud storage technologies

define the characteristics of cloud storage that must be included in service level agreements

describe the additional costs that impact on a cloud storage strategy.
