Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop information architecture for a complex website that meets current, and future, business requirements.It applies to individuals working as highly skilled web developers and designers who are responsible for the navigation and hierarchy of a websites. They liaise with clients to adapt e-business into their corporate strategy, have high-level knowledge of technical languages and design principles.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Gather evidence to demonstrate consistent performance in conditions that are safe and replicate the workplace. Noise levels, production flow, interruptions and time variances must be typical of those experienced in the website technologies field of work, and include access to: a web server the requirement specifications an integrated development environment (IDE), capable of creating web pages and server-side code current web development technology.
