This work typically involves complex integrated equipment and continuous operations.This unit applies to production support operators and technicians who identify and analyse causes of problems, apply solutions on a priority basis and document these activities.No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. The following resources must be made available access is to a full range of equipment relevant to identifying and rectifying problems in a pulp or paper manufacturing facility, including workplace procedures and associated documents personal protective equipment required to be worn when working in a pulp and paper manufacturing facility standard operating and fault finding documentation communication equipment and two-way radios recording/reporting proformas relevant personnel for the purposes of communicating information Competency is to be assessed in the workplace or in a productive environment that accurately reflects performance in a workplace. Assessor requirements Assessors must: hold the appropriate assessor competency standards as outlined in regulations; and be able to demonstrate vocational competencies at least to the level being assessed; and be able to demonstrate how they are continuing to develop their VET knowledge and skills as well as maintaining their industry currency and assessor competence. |
