Assessment must confirm the ability to observe and respond to changing circumstances and situations in the workplace; to review relevant workplace documentation; and to conduct quality assurance checks against previous recommendations.

Consistency in performance

Competency should be demonstrated over a range environments and workplace ionising sources. This may be in the workplace or in a simulated workplace environment.

Context of and specific resources for assessment

Context of assessment

Competency should be assessed in the workplace or in a simulated workplace environment.

Specific resources for assessment

Access to relevant research material, manufacturers' equipment specifications and existing related standards, policy and instructions.
