Competence to supervise work routines and staff performance requires evidence of the ability to implement roles and responsibilities to efficiently and effectively achieve work activities within set timeframes. It involves the ability to communicate information and instructions, prioritise and schedule work activities, determine and implement training requirements, evaluate staff performance, and provide constructive feedback. Evidence must be demonstrated in providing leadership to the work team and the ability to promote and maintain effective relationships between staff. The skills and knowledge required must be transferable to a different work environment. For example, this could include different workplaces, industries or work teams. |
