Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify and facilitate sport, recreation and fitness opportunities for people with a disability. This unit applies to group leaders in the sport, recreation or fitness industry who work within established organisational policies and procedures. This includes those working in after-school or holiday-care programs, as a coaching assistant, or in support roles in indoor or outdoor recreation activities, such as camps and guided activities.The skills in this unit must be applied in accordance with public health regulatory requirements, relevant legislation and organisational policies and procedures.No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
