Description | UNIT DESCRIPTOR:This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to contribute to the development of emergency and damage control plans and handling of emergency situations on a commercial vessel, including the preparation of contingency plans for emergencies and damage control, procedures for fire prevention, detection and extinguishment and the establishment and implementation of lifesaving procedures, including the use of various lifesaving appliances. | ||
