Description | UNIT DESCRIPTOR:This unit involves the skills and knowledge required of a Master 5 or Skipper 3 to maintain safe navigation of a commercial vessel through the use of radar and other electronic navigational aids. This includes initialisation and operation of radar and other modern navigational systems, interpreting all available navigational data and using it for avoiding collisions and ensuring the safe navigation of the vessel. | ||
