Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to follow and apply work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental procedures when carrying out work activities in the rail industry.It includes identifying and following workplace procedures for hazard identification and risk control, contributing to arrangements for managing WHS/OHS and environmental procedures, and completing appropriate records. Work is performed under some supervision generally in a team environment. It involves applying established WHS/OHS, environmental and hazard minimisation principles and procedures when conducting workplace activities.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | |||
