Unit of Competency | UEENEEE164A - Design electrical machine drives and production layout plans |
---|---|---|---|
Description | 1)Scope:1.1) DescriptorThis unit covers the design of electrical machine drives and the layout of machinery for the efficient production of goods produced by automated equipment. It encompasses working safely, applying extensive knowledge of machine drives and equipment layout arrangements, their application, gathering and analysing data, applying problem solving techniques, developing and documenting solutions and alternatives.Note.Typical machine drives and production layout plans are those encountered in meeting performance requirements and compliance standards, production requirements and efficient use of materials and human resources. | ||
Employability Skills | 5) This unit contains Employability SkillsThe required outcomes described in this unit of competency contain applicable facets of Employability Skills. The Employability Skills Summary of the qualification in which this unit of competency is packaged will assist in identifying Employability Skill requirements. | ||
Learning Outcomes and Application | 2)This unit is intended to apply to any recognised development program that leads to the acquisition of a formal award at AQF level 6. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. |
||
