Description | 1) This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to prepare a Heat Recovery Steam Generator for service. Placing the Heat Recovery Steam Generator in service will require the admission of the heating medium and the control the level of water within the steam/water drums, the flow and quality of the feedwater, the rate of steam pressure and temperature increase and the rate of rise of metal temperatures within design limits to the point at which the Heat Recovery Steam Generator is supplying a constant flow of steam at rated temperature and pressure to the consumer. | ||
