1. Prepare for installation

1.1 Installation instructions and work plans are identified and confirmed with appropriate personnel and installation requirements are determined

1.2 Parts, plant and equipment required for installation are obtained according to workplace procedures and within scope of responsibilities

1.3 Workplace procedures for installing vehicle plant, equipment and systems are identified

1.4 Work site is prepared according to installation plan and requirements of the manufacturer of the component parts, plant and equipment

1.5 Compliance of prepared work site with design drawings, work specifications, and work health and safety (WHS) requirements is determined

2. Conduct installation

2.1 Pre-installation of parts, plant, equipment, fixtures and additional low voltage wiring is completed according to the installation plan and work specifications

2.2 Parts, plant, equipment, fixtures and additional low voltage wiring are installed according to installation plan and work specifications

2.3 Parts, plant, equipment, fixtures and additional low voltage wiring installations are checked against technical and safety requirements

3. Finalise installation

3.1 Installation is checked against design specifications, workplace quality standards, manufacturer instructions and WHS requirements

3.2 Installation faults are reported and rectified according to workplace procedures

3.3 Installation reports are completed according to workplace procedures
