Performance Criteria

Elements describe the essential outcomes

Performance criteria describe the performance needed to demonstrate achievement of the element. Where bold italicised text is used, further information is detailed in the range of conditions section

1. Source technical data

1.1 Instructions and plans are read and interpreted to identify work area and related processes and materials

1.2 Appropriate manuals, drawings and circuits are identified and accessed

1.3 Amendment status of manuals, drawings and circuits is clearly established to ensure correct technical data is used

2. Interpret technical data

2.1 Relevant sections of manuals, drawings and circuits are located in relation to the work to be carried out

2.2 Information is interpreted and work procedures and processes to be followed are determined

3. Apply technical data

3.1 Work is performed according to specified procedures and information in relevant sections of manuals, drawings and circuits, and work health and safety (WHS) procedures

3.2 Sequencing of work is determined and applied in line with manuals, drawings and circuits

4. Store technical data

4.1 Manuals, drawings and circuits are stored according to workplace procedures and to prevent damage

4.2 Workplace documentation is completed according to workplace procedures
