1.1 Work orders, instructions, reports and quality requirements are obtained and confirmed

1.2 Spray booths, and hand and air tools are selected and checked for correct operation and faults are rectified or reported

1.3 Paint materials are identified and selected from job specifications

2. Prepare surface for painting

2.1 Workplace procedures are identified and followed

2.2 Surfaces are cleaned, degreased and prepared according to workplace procedures

2.3 Final finishing is performed on components and panel surfaces to workplace standards

2.4 Reject components and surfaces are identified, recorded and reported for rework or scrap according to workplace procedures

3.1 Paint materials are mixed and applied according to workplace procedures
