Application

This unit was developed for military personnel working within a combat zone in Defence but is applicable to any individual in this field of work.

Typically these individuals would demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team under direct and/or indirect supervision, use discretion and judgement, and take responsibility for the quality of their outputs. All activities are carried out in accordance with relevant organisational policies and procedures.

2.2 Night fighting equipment is operated.

2.3 Night fighting equipment is handled.

2.4 Fire is applied with service weapons using night fighting equipment.

3. Maintain night fighting equipment

3.1 Night fighting equipment is inspected, maintained and stored.

3.2 Faults, damage and/or deficiencies are reported.
