Application
This competency was developed for Defence personnel required to perform the duties of a range safety officer, including butts or firing point supervisor, during the conduct of range practices on permanent ranges within a Defence working environment.
Typically, a range safety officers work independently under indirect supervision, use discretion and judgement, and take responsibility for the quality of their outputs. All activities are carried out safely in accordance with relevant organisational policies and procedures.

3. Finalise a range practice | 3.1 Ranges are refurbished in accordance with standard procedures. 3.2 Post range practice administration is completed in accordance with standard procedures. |
