Application
This unit was developed for individuals within Defence who are involved in the capture of video images required for public affairs and other Defence purposes. The capture of these video images may occur under operational conditions; however, the unit does not include specific operational settings. This unit may be applicable to all individuals who work in this field.
Typically, these individuals must demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team under indirect supervision. They must be able to use discretion and judgement and take responsibility for the quality of their outputs.
All activities are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation, organisational policies and procedures

3. Operate the video camera | 3.1 Video camera shots and angles are considered to ensure desired result is achieved in accordance with specified requirements. 3.2 Video camera movement is steady and smooth to ensure desired result is achieved. 3.3 Video camera and equipment is adjusted and moved to ensure desired result is achieved. 3.4 Recording media is removed, edited, and transmitted to appropriate authorities. |
4. Clean, maintain and store video camera and equipment | 4.1 Video camera and equipment is cleaned, maintained, assembled and stored. 4.2 Video camera and equipment records are updated. 4.3 Video camera and equipment is recovered, stored and made ready for future use. |
