Application
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to conduct refuelling of vehicles and plant from a bulk fuel installation in a field environment to transfer fuel products between storage mediums within the installation. It includes preparing, conducting and completing refuelling and fuel transfer operations. This unit applies to persons working as petroleum operators in Defence but is applicable to any individual in this field of work. The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to. Persons undertaking this unit work under supervision and perform specific tasks in a range of contexts. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
