Obtain images suitable for publication within Defence

This unit covers the competency required to locate and obtain suitable images for incorporation within a Defence publication. All Defence reporters are required to obtain images in a variety of formats suitable for publication in a range of publications. It does not cover the competency required to take a photograph; this competency is covered in Take photographs suitable for publication within Defence (PUADEFPR305B).This competency is required by all Defence reporters.

Application

The application of this unit in the workplace - the environments, complexities and situations involved - will be written during Phase II of the Review of the PUA00 Public Safety Training Package.

This text will be useful for the purposes of job descriptions, recruitment advice or job analysis; where possible, it will not be too job specific to allow other industries to import it into other Training Packages, where feasible.
