Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to conduct tip truck operations in the transport and logistics industry. This unit is appropriate for those working in tip truck driving roles. It includes planning and preparing for tip truck operations, conducting tip truck pre-operational checks and driving a tip truck. It also includes loading, transporting and tipping materials, shutting down a vehicle and cleaning up vehicle, tools, equipment and work area. Work is performed with limited or no supervision, and with limited accountability and responsibility for self and others in achieving the prescribed outcomes. Vehicle must be operated in accordance with relevant state/territory licencing authority vehicle licence requirements and regulations. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
