Tips for gathering evidence to demonstrate your skills

The important thing to remember when gathering evidence is that the more evidence the better - that is, the more evidence you gather to demonstrate your skills, the more confident an assessor can be that you have learned the skills not just at one point in time, but are continuing to apply and develop those skills (as opposed to just learning for the test!). Furthermore, one piece of evidence that you collect will not usualy demonstrate all the required criteria for a unit of competency, whereas multiple overlapping pieces of evidence will usually do the trick!

works effectively with others to plan, prepare and supervise mobile plant operations including:

using a range of communications techniques and equipment to convey information to team members

communicating clearly and concisely with team members and others to provide and clarify work instructions

preparing for and conducting briefings, toolbox and site meetings

maintaining written and verbal reporting requirements and procedures

ensuring team members written and verbal reporting requirements are accurate, on time and meet requirements

organising work activities to meet all task requirements

demonstrates completion of supervising mobile plant operations that safely, effectively and efficiently meets all of the required outcomes on more than one (1) occasion including:

execution of operations where a minimum of three (3) different types of mobile plant have been operating
