2. Assess paintwork defects

2.1 Vehicle body panels and components are inspected to confirm extent and nature of paint defect

2.2 Damaged or defective paintwork is assessed and a repair plan developed and confirmed

3. Rectify paintwork defects

3.1 Defective areas are prepared

3.2 Surrounding areas are protected from repair activities

3.3 Paint defects are rectified in line with vehicle specifications and workplace quality standards

3.4 Paint drying method is selected and applied
