- Unit Description
- Reconstruct the unit from the xml and display it as an HTML page.
- Assessment Tool
- an assessor resource that builds a framework for writing an assessment tool
- Assessment Template
- generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
- Assessment Matrix
- a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).
- Wiki Markup
- mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.
- Evidence Guide
- create an evidence guide for workplace assessment and RPL applicants
- Competency Mapping Template
- Unit of Competency Mapping – Information for Teachers/Assessors – Information for Learners. A template for developing assessments for a unit, which will help you to create valid, fair and reliable assessments for the unit, ready to give to trainers and students
- Observation Checklist
- create an observation checklist for workplace assessment and RPL applicants. This is similar to the evidence guide above, but a little shorter and friendlier on your printer. You will also need to create a seperate Assessor Marking Guide for guidelines on gathering evidence and a list of key points for each activity observed using the unit's range statement, required skills and evidence required (see the unit's html page for details)
- Self Assessment Survey
- A form for students to assess thier current skill levels against each of the unit's performance criteria. Cut and paste into a web document or print and distribute in hard copy.
- Moodle Outcomes
- Create a csv file of the unit's performance criteria to import into a moodle course as outcomes, ready to associate with each of your assignments. Here's a quick 'how to' for importing these into moodle 2.x

Elements and Performance Criteria
1. Plan and prepare.
1.1. Work instructions and operational details are obtained using relevant information, confirmed and applied for planning and preparation purposes.
1.2. Safety (OHS) requirements are followed in accordance with safety plans and policies.
1.3. Signage and barricade requirements are identified and implemented.
1.4. Tools and equipment selected to carry out tasks are consistent with the requirements of the job, checked for serviceability and any faults are rectified or reported prior to commencement.
1.5. Materials quantity requirements are calculated in accordance with plans, specifications and quality requirements.
1.6. Materials appropriate to the work application are identified, obtained, prepared, safely handled and located ready for use.
1.7. Environmental requirements are identified for the project in accordance with environmental plans and regulatory obligations and applied.
2. Handle and sort concrete materials and components.
2.1. On delivery to site, concrete materials and components are identified and checked for conformity to material schedule, plans and specifications.
2.2. Concrete materials are moved to specified location applying safe manual handling procedures.
2.3. Concrete materials and components are stacked or stockpiled for ease of identification and retrieval for task sequence and job location in accordance with job specifications.
2.4. Concrete materials and components are protected against physical and water damage and stored clear of access ways, for ease of identification, retrieval and distribution.
2.5. Components are handled and positioned ready for installation in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, plans and specifications.
3. Handle and remove concrete materials and components on completion.
3.1. Materials are handled safely according to MSDS and requirements of regulatory authorities.
3.2. Hazardous material is identified for separate handling.
3.3. Dust suppression procedures are used to minimise health risk to work personnel and others.
3.4. Protection of materials is provided in accordance with specific material needs.
3.5. Materials are stored safely and effectively according to MSDS and requirements of statutory and regulatory authorities.
4. Clean up.
4.1. Work area is cleared and materials disposed of, reused or recycled in accordance with legislation, regulations, codes of practice and job specification.
4.2. Hazardous material is identified for separate handling.
4.3. Non-toxic materials are removed using correct procedures.
4.4. Dust suppression procedures are used to minimise health risk to work personnel and others.
4.5. Tools and equipment are cleaned, checked, maintained and stored in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and standard work practices.
