Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).

Waste management plan or waste collection requirements are reviewed to determine client requirements and segregation categories.

Job requirement hazards and risks are identified and handled according to organisational requirements, occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and other legislation.

Supervisor and team members are informed of job requirements, hazards and risks according to organisational requirements.

Equipment is used for segregation to maximise work effectiveness.

Segregation containers are set up to ensure safe and effective segregation of waste according to organisational requirements and relevant legislation.

Emergency and personal protective equipment is selected and fitted according to job requirements, manufacturer specifications, organisational requirements and relevant legislation.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is pre-checked to ensure it is suitable for the purpose.

Conduct identification and segregation activity.

Waste is identified and hazardous and dangerous waste and non-conforming waste are handled according to organisational requirements and relevant legislation.

Waste is segregated into categories according to waste characteristics and job requirements.

Sorted waste is placed into correct waste category container to prevent litter in surrounding area and to avoid cross-contamination.

Conduct quality control inspection.

Segregated waste is inspected to ensure compliance with segregation requirements.

Quality control inspection details are documented according to job and organisational requirements.

Clean up area.

Sorting site and equipment are cleaned to ensure safe and effective future operation according to organisational requirements.

4.2

PPE is checked for damage prior to ensuring that clean and undamaged equipment is stored.

Damaged or faulty PPE is reported according to organisational requirements.
