Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).
Wiki Markup
mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

1. Plan installation of lighting systems

1.1 Clarify lighting requirements in consultation with relevant personnel

1.2 Plan lighting control systems with reference to information in lighting designs and production documentation

1.3 Conduct site or venue inspections to identify issues to be incorporated into planning of lighting installation and operations

1.4 Compile a list of resources needed to develop lighting control systems that meet production requirements

1.5 Where possible, incorporate into the planning process new developments in lighting technology and innovative approaches to producing lighting effects

1.6 Develop contingency plans to minimise the impact of unexpected events on the installation and operation of lighting systems

1.7 Do a job safety analysis of tasks and incorporate health and safety considerations into overall planning

1.8 Develop and document, in an agreed format, a work plan for installing lighting systems

2. Organise resources

2.1 Develop realistic expenditure estimates that conform to budget allocations

2.2 Hire or purchase required resources according to organisational procedures

2.3 Identify potential budget overruns and resolve or recommend alternatives to relevant personnel

2.4 Organise crew in line with industry award guidelines

2.5 Organise the services of licensed personnel as required

3. Supervise the installation process

3.1 Supervise the connection of control systems

3.2 Monitor progress of lighting system installation against work plans and implement contingency plans as required to ensure that production deadlines are met

3.3 Ensure that all work activities comply health and safety and industry award guidelines

3.4 Progressively test aspects of lighting system installation to check that lighting effects specified in designs can be achieved

3.5 Use sight, sound and smell to identify faults in lighting equipment and accessories

3.6 Review finished installation with relevant personnel and make adjustments as required
