Unit Description

Assessment Tool
an assessor resource that builds a framework for writing an assessment tool
Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).
Wiki Markup
mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

1.3. Consultative processes are used to negotiate and agree strategy processes, objectives and timelines

1.4. Strategies are assessed for effectiveness in reducing waste disposal in line with organisational environmental management policies

1.5. Strategies are revised to ensure ongoing improvement in line with organisational requirements

2. Manage integrity of water bodies

2.1. Water is sourced and used from locations other than mains water, as required in line with organisational and legislative guidelines

2.2. Run-off water is managed to optimise use and minimise pollutants in line with organisational environmental management practice

2.3. Planting strategies are developed to efficiently and appropriately use available water supply and manage run-off

2.4. Irrigation/watering strategies are developed in line with organisational guidelines

3. Manage integrity of soil

3.1. Wind and water erosion is minimised by planting patterns and species

3.2. Nutrients and texture of the soil are managed to maintain soil productivity

4. Undertake an environmental audit

4.1. Need for environmental audit is determined and audit is conducted in line with organisational policies and procedures

4.2. Environmental considerations are covered in the audit, in line with organisational policies and legislative requirements

4.3. Recommendations are developed that are verifiable and sufficiently detailed to meet audit and organisational requirements

4.4. Business equipment and technology are used to access, analyse and organise information in line with organisational requirements
