Unit Description

Assessment Tool
an assessor resource that builds a framework for writing an assessment tool
Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).
Wiki Markup
mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

1.2 Interpret, check and validate notes, sketches and drawings, to determine correct application.

2. Interpret basic sketch or drawing detail

2.1 Identify and interpret basic sketch and drawing features to provide a three-dimensional picture of components, assemblies or structures.

2.2 Use sketches and drawings to orientate and fit components or assemblies.

2.3 Interpret dimensions and tolerances to correctly measure, select, mark or set up items or equipment.

2.4 Identify areas of insufficient detail and report in line with organisational procedures.

3. Prepare sketch or drawing

3.1 Identify items for drawing to ensure clear communication of requirements.

3.2 Select drawing views to present required information with minimal drawing complexity.

3.3 Develop clear and accurate production sketches or drawings in line with customer expectations, organisational procedures and industry standards.

3.4 Incorporate explanatory notes within sketches and drawings.

3.5 Record and report sketch and drawing interpretation and preparation activities to appropriate personnel.
