Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).

mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

1. Prepare for testing

1.1 Select conforming or non-conforming products, materials or waste are for testing in line with organisational requirements.

1.2 Interpret product quality specifications and drawings and select test parameters.

1.3 Obtain type and quantity of entities for testing and note design features that impact on testing and inspection.

1.4 Select and calibrate appropriate equipment and check for operational effectiveness in line with manufacturer's recommendations.

1.5 Select and plan testing process in line with organisational procedures.

2. Test samples

2.1 Follow workplace health and safety procedures throughout testing activities.

2.2 Collect procedures and information on operator observation.

2.3 Analyse information on problems or improvement requirements.

2.4 Prepare samples and identify manufacturing dates, times and batches from production records.

2.5 Establish and review test data in line with organisational procedures.

2.6 Conduct test in line with industry standards and environmental protection practices.

2.7 Compare all collected data and check results by further sampling and testing.

3. Evaluate and report test outcomes

3.1 Evaluate test results for impact on production processes.

3.2 Take action to rectify or improve on achieved test results.

3.3 Develop recommendations and consider feasibility of suggestions.

3.4 Record test process, results and recommendations and report to production personnel to facilitate process control or change.
