Unit Description

Assessment Tool
an assessor resource that builds a framework for writing an assessment tool
Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. 3.1 A single ply of materials is laid out in accordance with specifications and placement and cutting requirements

3.2 Multiple plies of materials are laid out in accordance with specifications and placement and cutting requirements

3.2 Patterns are manipulated according to specifications

3.3 Pattern shapes are transferred to material ready for cutting

4 Cut out millinery shapes and finalise work

4.1 Material is cut out using cutting equipment suited to the requirements of the millinery item

4.2 Straight lines are cut accurately and smoothly

4.3 Concave and convex curves are cut accurately and smoothly

4.4 Obtuse and acute angles are cut accurately

4.5 Cut pieces are inspected for quality

4.6 Cutting faults are rectified
