Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).
Wiki Markup
mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA

1. Intercept vehicle in a safe manner

1.1 All interceptions and procedures are planned with co-workers to ensure compliance with legislation, codes of practice, organisational procedures and standards.

1.2 A safe location is selected in accordance with organisational policy and workplace health and safety requirements.

1.3 Clear and appropriate signals are given to the driver of the target vehicle to stop the vehicle.

1.4 Agency policy requirements for intercepting a vehicle are complied with.

1.5 Occupational health and safety requirements are followed to prevent injury or damage.

2. Verify identity of driver and/or responsible operator

2.1 Driver is requested to produce identification.

2.2 Details of identification are recorded in accordance with legislation, policy and procedures.

2.3 Details of driver and/or responsible operator are verified with relevant authorities.

3. Inspect vehicle for safety compliance

3.1 Inspection is undertaken in accordance with organisational requirements.

3.2 Communication is maintained with relevant personnel to ensure safe, efficient and complete inspection.

3.3 Inspection is conducted in accordance with occupational health and safety and other organisational policies and procedures.

4. Act on non-compliance

4.1 Vehicle defects are identified and recorded in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

4.2 Minor problems are reported as part of the inspection and, where appropriate, the vehicle operator is requested to rectify without a penalty being issued.

4.3 Detected faults dangerous to other road users are recorded on defect notice and the vehicle is ordered off the road immediately by an officer with the appropriate authority.

4.4 Necessary records/paperwork are completed in accordance with legal and organisational requirements.
