2. Test/adjust radar systems and components

2.1 Radar system is prepared in accordance with maintenance manuals for the application of power/system operation

2.2 Radar system is functionally tested, in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, for evidence of serviceability or malfunction

2.3 System calibration or adjustments are performed in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals

3. Troubleshoot primary radar system faults

3.1 Valid conclusions about the nature and cause of the fault are drawn from available evidence within an acceptable time and appropriate action is taken in accordance with standard procedures

3.2 Available information from maintenance documentation, inspection and test results is used, where necessary, to assist in fault determination

3.3 Maintenance manual fault diagnosis guides and logic processes are used to ensure efficient and accurate troubleshooting

3.4 Faults beyond authority to repair are identified and the problem is documented for higher level repair by an outside agency

3.5 Primary radar system faults are located and the causes of the faults are clearly identified and correctly recorded in maintenance documentation in accordance with standard procedures

3.6 Spare parts, consumables and other equipment are identified, selected and obtained in accordance with standard procedures

3.7 Fault is rectified in accordance with maintenance documentation

3.8 Documentation and records are completed in accordance with standard procedures
