Unit Description

Assessment Tool
an assessor resource that builds a framework for writing an assessment tool
Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).
Wiki Markup
mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

Appropriate personnel are consulted to ensure the work is coordinated effectively with others involved on the work site.

Location of track protection is determined from job specifications and diagrams.

Documentation needed for track protection work is obtained in accordance with established procedures and checked against job requirements.

Tools and safety equipment needed to apply on track protection are obtained in accordance with established procedures and checked for correct operation and safety.

Establish and monitor track protection.

2.1

OHS risk control measures and procedures for carrying out the work are followed.

2.2

Track protection system is established in accordance with relevant safe working system

2.3

Protection system and equipment is constantly reviewed for compliance with standards/regulations to ensure ongoing protection.

Relevant authority/ personnel are liaised with as required to ensure maximum protection is maintained

Established methods for dealing with unexpected situations are discussed with appropriate person(s) and documented.

Unexpected situations are dealt with safely and with the approval of an authorised person.

Withdraw Track Protection.

3.1

OHS work completion risk control measures and procedures are followed.

3.2

Approval to remove track protection is obtained in accordance with relevant operational rules and procedures.

Equipment and personnel are removed in a safe manner

3.4

Documentation is completed and track protection is withdrawn

3.5

On-track safety equipment is secured and stored in an appropriate manner

Work completion is documented and appropriate person(s) notified in accordance with established procedures.
