|Description||This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to operate a variety of retail equipment. It involves identifying the correct equipment required for a given task, maintaining retail equipment, applying keyboard skills and operating data entry equipment.|

|Learning Outcomes and Application||This unit applies to frontline service personnel who operate and maintain a range of retail equipment, including point-of-sale systems, keyboards and data entry equipment, according to manufacturer instructions, design specifications, store policy and designated timeframes. This work is undertaken with some supervision and guidance.|

Methods of assessment
