This unit can be applied using a combination of training outcomes and performance in the workplace, with the principal evidence developed through performance in routine work functions in the workplace.
This unit applies to candidates with both general and specialist competencies from the range of occupational areas employed in correctional services. For this reason the unit may be significantly customised, particularly in the assessment of knowledge based on different organisational, sector and locational requirements.
This unit of competency describes the outcomes required to plan and conduct an interview and to implement decisions based on the exchange of information. The unit covers both formal and informal interviews used to gain and give information for a range of purposes. Interviews will involve both individuals and groups of people.
This unit replaces and is equivalent to CSCORG005A Conduct interviews.
