- Loadshifting equipment and associated attachments are selected and obtained according to work requirements.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is selected, checked and used according to organisational and compliance requirements.
- Barriers and warning signs are erected at loading and unloading sites to ensure safety of surrounding personnel according to organisational requirements and compliance requirements.
- Operate loadshifting equipment.
- Visual checks of equipment and associated attachments are conducted, and identified problems are resolved or reported according to organisational requirements.
- Pre-start, start-up, park and shutdown procedures are conducted according to manufacturer instructions and compliance requirements.
- Equipment is operated and driven in a safe and efficient manner, and operating techniques are modified to meet changing work conditions according to compliance requirements.
- Work environment is continuously monitored to identify hazards and risks, and ensure safety of self, personnel, plant and equipment according to organisational and compliance requirements.
- Communication with site personnel is maintained before and during equipment operation according to organisational and compliance requirements.
- Load, move and unload waste.
- Load weight is checked to ensure it is within safe operational limits and capacity of equipment according to manufacturer specifications and compliance requirements.
- Waste is loaded using an approved loading method according to organisational and compliance requirements.
- Attachments are fitted and used as required, to ensure load safety according to manufacturer specifications, organisational and compliance requirements.
- Where waste is vacuumed, liquid flow is regulated to ensure constant hose pressure is maintained.
- Waste is moved safely and securely according to work, organisational and compliance requirements.
- Waste is unloaded safely and efficiently to maintain integrity of containment according to work, organisational and compliance requirements.
- Load is stacked or housed at destination according to work, organisational and compliance requirements.
- Shut down and secure loadshifting equipment.
- Loadshifting equipment is parked in a safe location to avoid damage to equipment or obstruction of surrounding site activity according to organisational and compliance requirements.
- Shut-down procedures are completed and equipment is secured according to manufacturer specifications and organisational requirements.
- Carry out basic housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
- Equipment and attachments are cleaned to remove debris and contamination according to organisational requirements.
- Service checks are conducted according to manufacturer specifications and identified equipment faults are reported to relevant personnel.
- Record of moving activities is completed according to organisational requirements.
