Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least one occasion.

identifying and responding to operational problems

conducting risk assessment

using electrical safety procedures

using personal protective equipment

producing reports and logs

performing basic calculations to install and test equipment

installing flow control and metering devices

planning and preparing for installation of flow control and metering devices

interpreting plans, specifications and instructions for installation of flow control and metering devices

conducting routine inspections, maintenance and servicing of basic metering, flow control and regulating devices

completing workplace documentation

installing, replacing and securing basic volumetric metering equipment for domestic, industrial and commercial premises

dealing with customers
