Learning Outcomes and Application This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide opportunities for community groups and individuals to participate and design cooperative arrangements for addressing common concerns.This unit applies to workers in both health and community sectors and/or a community development work context. Workers at this level will be part of a professional team and under the guidance of a supervisor.The skills in this unit must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian/New Zealand standards and industry codes of practice.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.

  • Provide support to community groups to monitor and evaluate processes, progress and outcomes of activities
  • Provide appropriate support to community groups to become self managing in the implementation of plans
