This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to develop and produce maintenance strategies and plans for a gas facility.

It includes reviewing existing maintenance strategies, researching, budgeting, communicating with relevant stakeholders, planning to implement new strategies and documenting plans and strategies.

Establish strategies and implement a maintenance plan

Resources required to implement maintenance strategies are coordinated and work performed and monitored in accordance with work schedule and maintenance plan

Potential timeframe and maintenance scheduling variances are identified and monitored and preventative action taken and control measures implemented where necessary

Planned strategy objectives and required outcomes are documented in accordance with maintenance plan and workplace procedures

2.5

Work is supervised to ensure completion in agreed timeframe and to industry standards with a minimum of waste in accordance with maintenance plan and workplace procedures

Unplanned situations are responded to in accordance with workplace procedures, in a manner that minimises risk to personnel and equipment

2.7

Quality and safety checks of the work are undertaken in accordance with job requirements, workplace procedures community and industry standards

Maintenance strategies and plans are implemented to facilitate required outcomes in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
