Unit Description

Assessment Tool
an assessor resource that builds a framework for writing an assessment tool
Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).
Wiki Markup
mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

Observation Checklist

A form for students to assess thier current skill levels against each of the unit's performance criteria. Cut and paste into a web document or print and distribute in hard copy.
Moodle Outcomes

2 Select millinery materials

2.1 Millinery materials required for chosen design are identified

2.3 Materials are sourced according to design and production requirements

3 Prepare work area

3.1 Production resource requirements are identified

3.2 Workstation and equipment is prepared according to production requirements

3.3 Materials are prepared according to the requirements for the types of materials and the production requirements

4 Produce a simple headpiece

4.1 Headpiece foundation is prepared

4.2 Millinery materials and components are prepared

4.3 OHS practices are observed in the use of adhesives and size

4.4 Components and foundation are combined by sewing, gluing, bonding or wiring as relevant

4.5 Headpiece or hair accessory is trimmed and finished

5 Complete production

5.1 Headpiece or hair accessory is checked against design requirements and production requirements

5.2 Headpiece is packed, stored or labelled for display, sale or transfer

5.3 Production process, including housekeeping and required documentation is completed
