Assessment Template

Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).

2 Intercept vehicles

2.1 Interceptions and procedures are planned with coworkers to ensure compliance with legislation, codes of practice, organisational procedures and standards.

2.2 Safe locations are selected for each interception in accordance with organisational policy and workplace health and safety requirements.

2.3 Clear and meaningful signals are given to drivers of target vehicles to stop their vehicles in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures.

2.4 Agency policy requirements for intercepting vehicles are complied with.

2.5 Occupational health and safety requirements are followed to prevent injury or damage.

3 Assess driver compliance

3.1 Required driver records are verified.

3.2 Nature of any offences are reported to the driver in accordance with legal and organisational requirements.

3.3 Operational safety is maintained at all times.

3.4 Contingency management processes are implemented for any unplanned events in accordance with organisational policy and procedures.

4 Act on driver non-compliance

4.1Action is undertaken to achieve compliance in accordance with legislation, policy and procedures.

4.2 Operators/responsible parties may be informed of the action, justification for it and any rights of appeal in accordance with legal requirements and organisational procedures.

4.3Necessary records/paperwork are completed in accordance with legal and operational requirements.
