Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).
Wiki Markup
mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

Onsite physical hazards which impact on safe working operations of appliance and ancillary equipment are identified and appliance is sited to minimise impact, in accordance with organisational procedures

Aerial appliance is positioned in a location that supports operational requirements, in accordance with organisational procedures, to prevent injury to personnel or damage to equipment and facilities

1.3

Personal protective clothing and equipment is selected and worn, in accordance with organisational procedures and Work, Health and Safety (WHS)/Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements

Personnel working with the aerial appliance are deployed, in accordance with organisational operating procedures and WHS/OHS guidelines

Operate appliance

2.1

Aerial appliance is operated within safe working limits, in accordance with organisational procedures and manufacturers' specifications

2.2

Performance of aerial appliance is monitored and adjusted in response to changed conditions to achieve determined strategies and objectives

2.3

Action is taken to rectify any deficiencies in the operation of the aerial appliance, where possible

2.4

Aerial appliance is operated in a manner to prevent injury to personnel or damage to equipment and facilities

2.5

Fire spread, onsite hazards and atmospheric conditions and their potential impact on aerial appliance operations are monitored and relevant information is referred to appropriate personnel

Communication is established and maintained with appropriate personnel through the chain of command

Conclude operations

3.1

Ancillary equipment is cleaned, reinstated and stowed, in accordance with organisational procedures and WHS/OHS guidelines

Aerial appliance is checked and equipment is maintained and any faults or deficiencies are reported, in accordance with organisational procedures

Participate in debriefing sessions
